If you’ve been following this project from the beginning you’ll remember the orange accents and red toilet seat.
It’s now had a little bit of a makeover…we’ve gone dark and moody. We replaced the old suite to something a bit more neutral. The toilet is now on the angle due to the waste being positioned quite far into the room and to make space for people’s legs when sitting on it. You don’t want to be sat on the loo reminiscent of a cramped air flight. I must admit I did the tiling myself so it may look a little dodgy…. I’ve not quite done enough to develop this skill yet…but heading into the future I think I’ll get someone more experienced to do it next time so the finish is better.
The Details
The toilet and tap was from Wickes.
The paint was from Wilkinson.
The mirror was from the Range.
The picture frames were from Dunelm.
Two of the postcards were from Paperchase – the other was one of my birthday cards.
The hand wash basin unit and purple and green plant was from Bunnings (Now Homebase).
The hand soap and lotion is from Bramley.
The flooring was from The Flooring Superstore.
And the worktop was leftover from the bathroom makeover.
