I was proud to be involved with the concept design which both modernises and adds a more premium feel to an already existing brand. Planet Organic wanted to change the way they sell their food from an assisted service to a self service food to go. They wanted a back-bar that would be both aesthetically pleasing and useful. The coffee and juice bar required a lot of storage space so we designed a back-bar that would house ingredients, general dry goods and also housed the menu’s pride of place.

We then designed a food to go island which showcased hot dishes in tureens with toppings and bread over. We kept to a simple colour palette of black, white and whitewashed birch ply. By introducing black wall tiles and black floor tiles there was a greater contrast than in previous stores so it helped make the counters pop.
